Is it time to reinvent part of your life or business?

It’s one thing to plan for a new year; it’s another to overhaul something that isn’t working.

I know this well. We’re in the middle of a reinvention of our company. Last year was a wakeup call—we learned the hard way that we can’t keep doing things the way we’ve always done them.

We’ve embarked on a rethink of many areas of our business. We’re transforming our technology, processes, branding and vision.

Change isn’t easy.

Is there an area of your life or work that needs a rethink? Maybe it’s at home, church or in your relationships. Maybe it’s the way you work.

The good news is that we have a God who is in the business of making things new. Put what needs to be changed before him and ask him to make it new—even if you lay yourself at his feet.

I pray the following verses encourage you to trust him with change:

Isaiah 43:19—See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.

Isaiah 65:17—”See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.”

Psalm 33:3—Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.

2 Corinthians 5:17—Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

Embracing the new,
